Looking for some fishing in the area? We’re centrally located to a number of amazing waterways. Nearby, there’s the mighty Mississippi, a great place to reel in huge catfish for dinner. There’s also the Tennessee River, Pickwick Lake, Wheeler Lake and Bay Springs Lake—all well-known for sauger, white bass, crappie, largemouth and smallmouth. And you can also check out Reelfoot Lake (bream, crappie, catfish and bass) along with a huge number of other lakes and waterways within driving distance.

And even if you’re not actively fishing, be sure to check out the Mississippi River Monsters, where anglers vie to reel in the biggest catfish possible. Other tournaments that happen in the area include local bass and crappie competitions, as well as several FLW and Bassmaster Elite tournaments.
