Spartan manufactures its own hull components using the latest in computer controlled cutting and forming equipment. This ensures precision, quality, and the the best performance possible.
We only employ top craftsmen; in fact, our welding team alone has over 300 years of combined experience!
Spartan Boats are Crafted by People with Passion
- The most skilled craftsmanship goes into our aluminum welding, including TIG welding.
- To ensure the best quality, we build our own components such as seats, windows and tops.
- We engineer our boats with the angler in mind so they contain durable downrigger mounting pads, rod holders, self-draining transom and bow lockers; we even pre-wire our dashes for easy installation of your electronics.
Spartan also manufactures most of its own components, like seats, windows, and tops. This allows us to rapidly meet changing customer needs and maintain the best quality, style, fit and finish in the industry.
Product development operates in a 3D design environment utilizing the latest in Solid Works software; this provides us with realistic conceptual planning, in-house custom design capabilities, accurate product imaging, superior hull layout and design.
Spartan uses one-piece hull side and a one-piece bottom construction. The sides are formed and double welded to the bottom producing a super strong triangular structural member from the tip of the bow stem all the way to the stern, thus creating a uniquely engineered performance-enhancing full-length reverse chine unlike any other in the industry, with no corrosion traps, and with extrusion free joinery, improving overall strength.
Every hull has full-length engineered box stringers that are computer formed for a perfect fit, compound angle box shape for strength, welded to the hull from bow to transom, and full depth for added deck strength and reduced weight.
Spartan hull sides have full-length formed-in-hull stiffeners that are computer formed at 485 tons pressure for strength and accuracy.
Our rails are custom fit and welded to every hull for improved strength and corrosion resistance as compared to bolt-on railings.
Hull drains are welded into our hulls for quality, strength and corrosion-free construction. Most builders use plastic thru-hulls and drains that are susceptible to breakage.
Our cleats are all welded for quality and strength.
Spartan continuously welds heavy duty keel guards on every hull for impact resistance. No skip welds and no corrosion crevices here.
Spartan backs up our promise of quality with a lifetime transferable hull warranty.
