We are the gateway to the nearest and best fishing and boating in North Houston. Lake Conroe, Lake Houston and the Gulf of Mexico are easily reached from our location. Find us just off Interstate 45 North at the Airtex Road exit. Our North Houston location puts us conveniently close to the area’s top attractions. There’s Hurricane Harbor Splashtown, just 7 miles north, is a water park with activities for the entire family. Minute Maid Park is home to the Houston Astros and just 20 miles south. The Galleria is also about 22 miles south and spans 2.4 million square feet with 400 stores and restaurants, two high-rise hotels, a full-sized ice skating rink and two swimming pools.

For fishing and boating, Lake Conroe is a short 38 miles to the north via Interstate 45. This 21,000-acre lake was the site of the 2017 Bassmaster Classic for good reasons—largemouth bass are predominant in the lake, but there’s also plenty of catfish, hybrid striped bass, bluegill and crappie. Numerous public marinas provide plenty of boat access. At Lake Conroe Park, there are also picnic facilities, barbecue pits, swimming areas and fishing piers. Lake Houston, 24 miles east, provides great fishing for largemouth bass, bluegill, white bass, crappie and blue catfish.

And then there’s the Gulf of Mexico with its fertile water offering an abundance of saltwater fishing opportunities. Galveston is 70 miles from us and provides close access to inshore and offshore species. Along the numerous piers, jetties and manmade structure in the Intracoastal Waterway and coastal shoreline, you can catch a wide variety of saltwater game fish, including redfish, king mackerel, croaker, speckled sea trout and sheepshead. Go deeper into the bays and catch speckled trout and redfish. Or, head offshore for snapper, dorado, blue marlin, tuna and wahoo.
