We are located in the heart of some of the best fishing and boating outside the Twin Cities. We are located about 30 miles to the north of Minneapolis and St. Paul, on the east side of Interstate 35 North at Exit 129.
Our hometown lake is 2,251 acres, as well as 37 feet at the deepest point. Popular game fish species are smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, panfish and musky. Or, White Bear Lake, about 12 miles to our south, is 2,416 acres. You can expect to catch northern pike, largemouth bass, smallmouth bass and panfish there. There’s also the St. Croix River about 30 miles south of us. It’s popular for smallmouth bass and walleye. Trolling for walleye and using artificial lures for bass and live bait for panfish are popular fishing methods.
In addition to fishing, our many area lakes are popular summertime playgrounds for watersports and cruising. Tubing, skiing, wakeboarding and picnicking and camping are popular pastimes.
